A Foreigner Driving Without A License Made An Abrupt U-turn, Causing An Accident On the Senai-Desaru Highway
A 32-second video recently circulated on social media of a vehicle colliding with a van making a U-turn.
According to Superintendent Hussin Zamora of the Kota Tinggi District Police, the incident on the Senai-Desaru Highway at 2.55 p.m. involved a Honda HRV driven by a 29-year-old woman and a Ford Econovan van driven by a 33-year-old Myanmar national.

The van's driver is thought to have made a sudden U-turn.
"The 33-year-old van driver who finished cutting the grass in the area has made a U-turn. As a result of the accident, the car suffered severe damage to the front right side of the vehicle, while the van suffered damage to the left side of the vehicle,” he added.
The driver of the car suffered mouth and hand injuries, while her two-year-old son received scratches on his cheek, forehead, and left eye.

The driver of the van was unharmed. Hussin stated that evidence from the van's driver had been obtained and that an investigation would be conducted in accordance with Regulation 13 of the Road Traffic Rules 1959 (LN166/59).
"A summons has been issued against the van's driver because for the absence of driver's license," he explained.
