Honda BR-V ASEAN NCAP Test
According to MIROS Director-General, Honorable Dato’ Dr. Khairil Anwar Abu Kassim, he was pleased at Honda’s consistent development and improvement in both vehicle passive and active safety technology while increasing occupant protection. He further applauds Honda’s collision mitigation technology with consideration given to other road users and motorcycles.
Dato’ Khairil goes on to add that ASEAN NCAP places special emphasis on chile occupant safety beyond the collision environment. He is happy that Honda has placed special emphasis on this with Child Presence Detection technology made standard in the HR-V and is available in the BR-V either as standard or optional fitment. The child presence reminder is crucial in preventing accidental child deaths due to drivers lapse in memory of their presence. The current ASEAN NCAP 2021-2025 assessment protocol covers four assessment domains with AOP covers 40.00 points of the overall score, and COP, SA and MS make up 20.00 points each of the overall score.
