R5 Turbo 3E Screams 375 hp and 700 Nm electric motor

Renault is not kidding when it comes to setting the bar higher especially when the automaker reveals a R5 Turbo 3E to be shown soon at the Chantilly Arts & Elegance 2022 competition on September 25th, which is happening in 3 days.
Styling wise, it sports a robust and manly form which has a carbon fibre body and rear air intakes adopting the same shape as its predecessors (Turbo 2) bonnet, doors, and cockpit.

On top of large air intakes on the front bumper that helps to cool the battery and motor, you could notice a massive rear wing included as well.
Moving to the cabin, carbon fibre bucket racing seats and safety harnesses are added to the interior, along with a handbrake level to make drifting even easier. The original Turbo 2's ten analogue dials have been replaced with digital screens, and there are video game-inspired graphics.
The hot hatch is a two-seat rear-drive one-off built for drifting whilst the designer got rid of its rear seat just to reserve space for the powertrain and replace two motors on each rear wheel.
Renault claims that the EV drift machine could speed from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.5 seconds that churns out 380hp and monstrous torque of 700 Nm, although if switched to drift mode it could reach an electronically limited top speed of 200 km/h within 3.9 seconds.
The powertrain is powered by a 42-kWh lithium-ion battery mounted beneath. However, Renault have not shared the range figures which only left us with knowing a fully charged R5 Turbo 3E via a 380V charger takes 2 hours.
Interestingly, to start the hot hatch, drivers ought to press the "Free Play" button on the centre console, which was inspired by games and the digital world. "Turbo" (for drifting), "Track Invader" (for playing), and "Donut" (for 360° spins) are among the driving modes.
Following next, it also comes with 10 or so mounting brackets for cameras inside and outside to accommodate the generation that records almost everything.
Just to share, the remarkable R5 Turbo 3E is actually a follow-up to the 1980s R5 Turbo and R5 Turbo 2 production models which were built on a tubular chassis with FIA-approved roll bars.
