Lamborghini Huracan Sterrato set for December launch

Teased over the last few months, the Lamborghini Huracan Sterrato is set to become the final combustion-powered Huracan – and Lamborghini model, for that matter – before the model eventually bows out. This comes on top of its promise of all-terrain capability featured in all its teasers.
Well, we won’t have long to wait to finally see this special as sources online report that Lamborghini will unwrap this special early next month at the Art Basel show, held from December 1 to December 3, in Miami, Florida.
The Huracan Sterrato is interesting for a number of reasons. For one, Lamborghini’s final pure ICE-powered car will harness a stratospheric naturally aspirated V10 mill. Though not as coveted as its flagship V12 unit, will undoubtedly deliver all the sensations and theatrics it’s already renowned for.

Notably, House Sant'Agata hasn’t exactly confirmed this finale Huracan's "Sterrato" moniker, with much of this speculation driven by the marque’s one-off concept unveiled in June 2019 of the same name. Crucially, this go-anywhere Huracan special arrive before that of sister VW Group brand Porsche and their 911 Safari / Dakar.
To refresh your memory, the Sterrato concept Lamborghini previously showcased, which underpins the Huracan, sat 47 MM (1.85 inches) higher thanks to its reworked suspension. It also saw its wheel tracks extended by 30 MM (1.18 inches) at both axles whilst the approach and departure angles were improved by 1% and 6.5& respectively. This concept was also engineered with rear-wheel steering, a beefier body plus strengthened underbody reinforcements, as well as a rear skid plate that doubles up as a diffuser.
From the latest set of teaser images released recently, it’s evident to see that much of the 2019 concept’s traits have been executed in this pre-production prototype, albeit with the addition of roof racks now. We’ll have more once the car official debuts in just a few weeks time.
