Repairs Completed On Kelana Jaya LRT Line - Rapid Rail

According to Rapid Rail, repairs to the damaged components that caused today's disruptions on the Kelana Jaya LRT line have been finished.
"As of 10 p.m.," Rapid Rail said in a statement, "all train operations passing through Kerinchi LRT station are functioning automatically and properly in both directions."
It went on to say that its engineering team would keep an eye on the system's stability in the affected locations.
Rapid Rail has also apologised for the disruption caused to its customers.
Following a technical fault with a train earlier today, travellers were warned to expect delays in train frequency at numerous stations along the Kelana Jaya LRT line.
RapidKL stated on Facebook that the frequency of train services between Kerinchi and Ampang Park would be delayed by up to 15 minutes after a train was taken out of service.
Rapid Rail then stated that it suspected the outages were caused by a lightning strike at the Kerinchi LRT station.
"The disruption (at 5.46pm) was caused by the Platform Intrusion Emergency Stop (PIES), which was quickly activated following a suspected lightning strike at the Kerinchi LRT station, preventing trains from travelling through the region," Rapid Rail stated earlier.
The Kelana Jaya LRT line was also in the news earlier this month when 16 stations were forced to close for almost a week.
On November 11, then-transport minister Wee Ka Siong announced that the issue had been resolved after the modem and power supply system for the rails were replaced.
