MBSJ Is Trialling A New Traffic Light Intersection in Puchong Jaya

The Subang Jaya City Council (MBSJ) is carrying out a trial test of new traffic lights at the intersection of Jalan Pipit to Jalan Merbuk in Puchong. This is set to last from Jan 1 until Jan 13, 2023.
MBSJ also clarified that the implemented trial period for the new traffic light intersection was aimed at obtaining the appropriate and optimal phase time of the traffic light system for the flow of traffic in the area.
According to a post on its official Facebook page, MBSJ says the move is an extension of a previous road junction upgrade works in Bandar Puchong Jaya which completed on Dec 18 last year.
The post further advises road users to obey the instructions of the signs and the management of the traffic system to ensure the smooth flow of traffic in the area during the stated trial period.
Previously, the State Government provided an allocation of RM400,000 to develop infrastructure projects in the area to reduce traffic congestion faced by residents.
