Lamborghini Reports Record Profit For 2022; 56% Higher Than 2021

Lamborghini's business was booming in 2022. The Italian automaker's newly disclosed financial results show revenue of $2.56 billion, a 22% increase over 2021. The company's operating profit is $661.19 million, up 56% from 2021.
Earlier in the year Lamborghini announced that it delivered 9,233 vehicles in 2022, which was 10 percent more than in 2021. Lambo moved 5,367 examples of the Urus, 3,113 units of the Huracan, and 753 Aventadors.
The United States was Lamborghini's biggest market, with 2,721 deliveries in 2021. Mainland China, Hong Kong, and Macau were the second-largest market at 1,018 vehicles. Germany completes the top three with 808 models.

"We have an opportunity to really focus on our next objectives, thanks in part to our 18-month’ waiting list, which means we can confidently contemplate our future targets. This is a golden time for Lamborghini: we have made history even as we continue to pursue growth," said Lamborghini boss Stephan Winkelmann.

Paolo Poma, the Managing Director and CFO of Automobili Lamborghini, noted: “The economic and geopolitical situation has been tough in recent years, but we’ve been able to show our resilience and our capacity to work towards excellent economic and financial results. 2022 was our best year ever on all financial and business fronts. It means we can take an optimistic outlook on the growth of our brand and our company.”

Lamborghini's 60th anniversary year, 2023, will also mark the start of a new era in the company's history.
The introduction of the new V12 supersports car, the first plug-in hybrid from Sant'Agata Bolognese, will be the first step toward the hybridization of the entire model range, which is expected to be completed by the end of 2024. The 2.5 billion EUR investment, which will be completed by 2028, is Automobili Lamborghini's largest ever.
