RapidKL Is Upgrading The LRT, MRT & Monorail Audio System
Heads up, RapidKL users. RapidKL has announced that the upgrading work for the audio system of the LRT, MRT and Monorail is currently underway in phases. This upgrading work is part of the firm’s preparation before the official opening of the MRT Putrajaya Line Phase 2, taking place later this month.
Passengers are advised not to heed or give attention to any announcements made pertaining to the new MRT Line. “For your information, the interchange stations to the MRT Putrajaya Line Phase 2 are yet to open,” Rapid KL says.
The Phase 2 of the current MRT Putrajaya Line covers a total of 15 elevated stations and nine underground stations, which starts from the Kampung Batu, nearby Jalan Ipoh in the heart of Kuala Lumpur. Once opened, the MRT Putrajaya Line will start from Kwasa Damansara to Putrajaya Sentral, with up to nine interchange stations along the line.
The MRT Putrajaya Line Phase 2 is set to commence its service beginning on March 16, 2023, from 3 PM onwards.
