Rapid Rail Sdn Bhd has decided to extend its operating hours on several rail stations this Saturday (April 15) until 1.30 AM . Through this move, the public could make final preparations which now only has one week left for those who wanted to celebrate Hari Raya Aidilfitri.
The rail operator said the Light Rail Transit (LRT) station selected for the Ampang/Sri Petaling lines will be the Masjid Jamek station, while the stations for the Kelana Jaya LRT line are Masjid Jamek and KLCC.

As for the monorail service, the stations involved are Bukit Bintang, Raja Chulan, Medan Tuanku, and Chow Kit. Following that, the Mass Rapid Transit station for the Kajang line will be Bukit Bintang.
Meanwhile, the operating hours of the LRT11 intermediate buses will also be extended to allow users access to the relevant stations following the closure of six LRT stations on the Ampang/Sri Petaling lines.

Accordingly, operating hours of connecting stations will also be extended to ferry passengers to their destinations, whereas other stations will end their operations as scheduled. From there, passengers could still exit the station to continue their journey.
Take note that you can also use Touch ‘N Go cards or purchase return trip tokens in advance to facilitate your journeys in a more convenient way.
City residents are encouraged to use public transport this weekend to reduce traffic congestion in the city centre. Thus, this weekend is expected to be crowded so wearing a face mask is still mandatory when commuting through public transport.

A quick look through its official Facebook page also shows Duit Raya handed over to passengers at bus stops which distributed by the bus captains and Rapid Bus respective employees.
