Refreshed 2024 Porsche Cayenne Interior Revealed

The third-generation Porsche Cayenne luxury performance SUV is set to debut next month on April 18. Ahead of which, the Stuttgart-based sportscar marque has opted to release the first set of images showing off its interior that sports a completely reinvented cockpit.
Key revisions here include the adoption of a sizeable new 12.6-inch digital instrument display panel with a curved screen plus an analogue rev-counter mounted in the centre of which.

Up to seven display modes will be available, though its availability greatly depends on which specification customers opt for. Included here too is a simplified layout with a focus on essential info. There's also one that has Porsche's traditional five-circle design as well.
Next comes a slightly smaller 12.3-inch centre infotainment screen. According to Porsche, it now supports Siri voice commands to operate vehicle functions and comes primed with online-connected navigation as a standard. Notably, when stationary, occupants can also use the display to stream videos too.

Below said centre infotainment screens sits the new climate control panel which now sports a glass surface over a black panel and features touch recognition with haptic feedback. The system also has some physical control switches whilst a volume knob sits just below which.
Porsche have also added a cooled, inductive wireless smartphone charging pad in the centre stack, and it also comes as a standard item. Complementing which are two USB-C ports in the front storage compartment, plus two more in the rear centre console.
Before you ask, the gear selector switch has been moved into the driver’s side dash just to the right of the steering wheel. The latter has also been redesigned with cues lifted from the current-gen Porsche 911 (992) sportscar model.
Whilst on the wheel still, it comes primed with multifunction controls on the horizontal spokes that toggle the instrument cluster layout and the optional head-up display. A stalk for operating the cruise control is on the lower left whilst a dial for changing drive modes is placed on the right side.

Interestingly, there’s now the option for a 10.9-inch passenger display screen, and it grants control over the navigation and media suites. The screen can also stream videos while the Cayenne is on the move, and it also gets a filter fitted to prevent driver distraction.
This first look of the refreshed Cayenne’s innards perhaps signals the completion of Porsche’s rigorous pre-production development for the model. Said effort even included punishing tests across multiple terrains including snow and desert conditions.
When it debuts next month, the refreshed Cayenne is expected to feature a selection of powertrain options. Amongst them is a twin-turbo V8 rated at 468 HP, as well as a plug-in hybrid (PHEV) package rated at 463 HP with an enlarged 25.6 kWh battery.
