Ford Ranger Getaways Destinations For May 2023 Announced

The Ford Ranger Getaways program, tailored especially for new generation Ford Ranger owners by distributors Sime Darby Auto Connexion (SDAC), sees its May 2023 itinerary highlighted by two special trips.
According to SDAC, the latest effort grants participants a fresh and engaging way of exploring Malaysia’s famed ‘Banjaran Titiwangsa’ (Titiwangsa Mountain Range). This follow on from the program’s last major endeavour held late last year featuring a beginner’s off-road driving course.

Kedah's famed Air Terjun Alor Naga is amongst the destination touted in the Ford Ranger Getaways for May 2023.

The Gunung Jerai getaway will also feature specially organised 4x4 driving challenges.
The first getaway planned for May, called ‘A Trip Through Nature at Gunung Jerai’, will be held on May 6. This one-day trip, which coincides with Mother’s Day, features a convoy drive up the peak of Kedah’s Gunung Jerai.
Along the way, owners will also get to experience specially organised 4x4 driving challenges at Bukit Kuang with professional instructors. Included here is a Side Slope course, as well as courses to test out the Ranger’s built-in Hill Descent Control and Hill Launch Assist features.

A breath-taking sunrise view is the key highlight of the 'Chase The Sunrise in Cameron Highlands' trip.

The Cameron Highland getaway will also see participants head to a 'charming' resort.
The second getaway planned, called ‘Chase the Sunrise in Cameron Highlands’, will run from May 27 to May 28. This set to take travellers off the beaten path on top of being the first overnight trip in this year’s Ford Ranger Getaways series.
This getaway also features a convoy drive up to Pahang’s famed mountain retreat to a ‘charming’ resort destination plus specially curated activities that includes a barbecue party plus an outdoor night-time movie screening.
The ultimate highlight of this second getaway though is the 40 KM convoy drive on Day 2 to chase the sunrise. This will see participants trekking through some of Cameron’s lesser known trails towards a 'mystery' viewpoint and catch a breath-taking sunrise view.

We had our own little 'getaway' with the Ford Ranger some time back. Read about it by clicking here.
As for price, the Gunung Jerai getaway features a Couples Package priced at RM456.02 per person, as well as a Family Package priced at RM1,716.49 for four adults. As for the Cameron Highlands getaway, the adventure costs RM1,047.77 per person.
Opened exclusively to new generation Ford Ranger owners, registration for both trips are now open online through the dedicated SDAC Ford e-commerce platform. Both getaways can accommodate up to four persons per vehicle.
All prices are inclusive of insurance for travellers aged one to 80 years. Children aged 16 and below, on the other hand, can travel for free.
