Similar traffic was reported on the Kuala Lumpur-Karak motorway from Kuala Lumpur to the Karak intersection to the Bentong Toll until Lentang and Bukit Tinggi to Genting Sempah. Meanwhile, the police announced on Facebook that there were 1,381 accidents involving 2,072 vehicles nationwide on Sunday, the fourth day of Ops Selamat 20.
Op Selamat 20 will last seven days, beginning on April 20. According to the report, cars were involved in the most accidents, accounting for 1,528 of the total cases recorded (73.7%). "This was followed by motorcycles (256), four-wheel drive vehicles (122), multi-purpose vehicles (102 cases), vans (43), lorries (13), buses (five), and three taxi accidents," the statement read. They also advised drivers to be cautious in order to avoid accidents.
