Route 451 Bus Service Trial Run, Kajang-Bangi-Putrajaya, 3 July Till 30 Sept
Rapid Bus will launch a three-month trial run for its Route 451 bus service, which will operate between Kajang MRT Station and Putrajaya Sentral MRT Station, beginning on July 3rd and ending on September 30th, 2023.
This service is intended to operate during peak hours on weekdays between 6:30am and 8:00am and 4:30pm to 6:00pm. The Route 451 bus would make restricted stops at the Kajang Bus Terminal, the PKNS Complex Bandar Baru Bangi, the Government Complex Parcel E (West) and Parcel D, the Ministry of Finance, the Palace of Justice (North), Putrajaya Corporation, and the PJH Gallery.
According to Ku Jamil Zakaria, Chief Operating Officer of Rapid Bus Sdn Bhd, the purpose of this trial run is to connect places that are not served by the train system or other modes of public transit.
This trial run would assist Rapid Bus in determining the effectiveness of the bus service in unserviced routes while also identifying the demand for this route, particularly among people working in the Putrajaya area.
Passengers using this service would pay RM1.00 for a one-way ride using their My50 Unlimited Travel Pass, MyRapid Concession Card, or Touch 'n Go card. This service would be the least expensive means of transportation on the route.
