Launched: Ford Everest Wildtrak – From RM338,888

The Ranger Wildtrak now has a full-bodied SUV twin in the form of the new Ford Everest Wildtrak!
Besides the new Ford Ranger Platinum, Sime Darby Auto Connexion (SDAC) also expanded the line-up for said pick-up truck’s full-bodied Everest SUV twin with a brand new Ford Everest Wildtrak variant. Aptly, this variant of the Everest gets a host of aesthetic additions, all inspired by the Ranger Wildtrak.
Essentially, this new variant of the Everest 4x4 SUV was built for those seeking a full-blown 4x4 SUV that’s both rugged and richly-equipped with various premium and high-tech amenities.

Key visual treats include gloss black-treated Wildtrak badges, Boulder Grey exterior accents, and 20-inch two-tone wheels.
Visually, the Wildtrak treatment is evident through the addition of a variant-specific Luxe Yellow, Meteor Grey and Absolute Black paintjob options, gloss black Wildtrak badges, Boulder Grey contrasting exterior trims, as well as a set of 20-inch two-tone wheels.
Onboard, all three rows of seats get treated with leather upholstery and the signature Wildtrak orange contrast stitching plus Wildtrak badges. As for the front seats, they’re primed with 8-way power-adjustable functions.

Wildtrak treatment onboard brings full leather seats with orange contrast-stitching plus Wildtrak emblems. Present too are 8-way power-adjustable front seats and panoramic glass sunroof.
Tech and other amenities remain largely unchanged from the existing Everest Titanium variant, and it includes the 12-inch portrait touchscreen infotainment unit, 12.4-inch digital instrument panel, 8-speaker audio suite, wireless smartphone charging pad, plus both a panoramic glass sunroof and powered tailgate.
As for safety, the Everest Wildtrak mirrors its pick-up truck twin by having a full-swing of active driver assist (ADAS) primed. Key highlights include adaptive cruise control with stop-go function, lane departure warning and mitigation, blind-spot info and warning, autonomous emergency braking, and more.

Mechanically, it's business as usual here with Ford's familiar but proven 2.0-litre Bi-Turbo 4-cyl diesel powertrain rated at 210 PS and 500 NM.
Mechanically, the Everest Wildtrak continues to employ Ford’s familiar yet proven 2.0-litre Bi-Turbo 4-cyl diesel heart that’s good for 210 PS and 500 NM. That gets paired with a 10-speed automatic box and full-blown 4x4 driveline with an electronic rear diff present too.
As for price, SDAC has tagged the Everest Widltrak at RM338,888 (Peninsular Malaysia) on-the-road excluding insurance. Included in said price is a 3-year or 100,000 KM manufacturer warranty, but this can be extended by 2 years or 60,000 KM through an optional extended warranty plan.
