Tesla Model 3 Sighted Ahead Of November 30th Delivery Date!

The sightings of the new Tesla Model 3 Highland being transported on vehicle loaders to the Tesla Malaysia headquarters in Cyberjaya have the Tesla Malaysia community on Facebook abuzz lately. According to pictures shared on WhatsApp and social media, all of the cars are currently kept at Tesla Malaysia's open-air parking lot.

This is timely since Tesla Malaysia was able to push forward the Tesla Model 3's original December delivery date to November 30, 2023. This was confirmed based on Model 3 buyers' post on Tesla Owners Malaysia Facebook page expressing their excitement on the upcoming vehicle delivery date, finalising their insurance and vehicle registration processes.

To recap, Datuk Seri Tengku Zafrul Abdul Aziz, Minister of Investment, Trade, and Industry, announced Tesla's entry into Malaysia through the BEV Global Leaders Initiative back in March. The company showed early signs of setting foot in Malaysia when it conducted a walk-in open interview session in June 2023.

Launched in July, the Model Y took the local EV market by surprise, particularly the grey importers, as it was the first model offered here at a starting price of RM199,000. The all-new Model 3 Highland followed in October with prices starting from RM189,000. The Tesla Model Y would begin delivery in January 2024, a month after the Model 3.
