As of Dec 2023, ChargeSini currently operates a total of 582 charging points throughout Malaysia.

Local EV charging point operator (CPO) ChargeSini has capped 2023 on a positive note, as the firm recently reached a new milestone of having over 500 charging points within its network. These charging points are scattered throughout ChargeSini’s 183 charging stations currently in operation, which include a total of 464 AC and 118 DC plugs.

ChargeSini recently penned an Mou with Mydin Hypermarket to set up EV charging stations at 24 Mydin outlets nationwide

Part and parcel of this rise in charging ports stemmed from various MoUs signed by ChargeSini with fellow strategic partners, including one with Mydin Hypermarket. This partnership sees ChargeSini setting up its EV charging stations in 24 Mydin Hypermarket outlets nationwide.

The bulk of ChargeSini’s 183 charging stations are located within apartment or condominium complexes, while malls and hotels make up the most publicly-accessible charging stations within its network. With 582 charging points currently operational, this figure places ChargeSini comfortably as the second largest EV charging point operator in Malaysia in terms of plug counts.

Recently, ChargeSini launched an in-app wallet for its mobile app with the aim of providing a smoother transaction for users to charge up their EVs. More importantly, the firm has also adopted the per-kWh charging rate for all its charging stations instead of the old per-minute charging rate. These new rates start at RM1.09 per kWh for the AC chargers, while the DC chargers are capped higher at RM1.19 per kWh, regardless of location.
