Ford Penampang Hosts Largest Ever FROC Borneo Region Gathering

A total of 320 participants turned up for the 7th FROC Borneo Region Mega TT Gathering recently.

The largest ever Ford Ranger Owners Club (FROC) Borneo Region ‘Mega TT’ Gathering took place recently. Co-organised by dealers Ford Penampang (Rightpower Corporation), it saw  320 participants in attendance and a total of 107 Ford Ranger pick-up trucks.

Said ‘Mega TT’ gathering, which was also the 7th edition held by the club, was held at the J Borneo Native Village – a popular and picturesque lifestyle destination located in Sabah’s Penampang district.

Co-organised by Ford Penampang (Rightpower Corporation), the dealership also organised a specially curated full-day programme for participants.

A bevy of vibrant activities were held during this gathering such as lucky draws with exciting prizes, as well as a fun-filled karaoke session. That aside, Ford Penampang also conducted a special full-day programme curated especially to cater to the interest and entertainment of all participants.

“The 7th FROC Borneo Mega TT Gathering encapsulates the essence of the 'Ranger Lifestyle,' emphasising not just the love for a robust vehicle, but also the sense of community and shared experiences that come with it,” expressed Edmund Lau, Dealer Principal of Ford Penampang.

A total of 107 Ford Ranger pick-up trucks were present during this gathering, thus making it FROC Borneo Region's largest get-together yet.

Established in 2013, the FROC Borneo Region chapter presently boasts 1,009 active members. The club organises two or three events annually in collaboration with distributors SDAC-Ford and its dealer partners to forge greater in-depth knowledge of the Ranger, and offer value-added activities for its members.
