Auto ConneXion Introduces Ford Mobile Service in Malaysia
SDAC has introduced the Ford Mobile Service, offering maintenance and light repair services directly to customers’ doorsteps.
Sime Darby Auto Connexion-Ford (Auto ConneXion), the sole distributor of Ford vehicles in Malaysia, today introduced the Ford Mobile Service in Malaysia. This new service offers Ford customers in Malaysia easy door-to-door maintenance and light repair service work, thus eliminating the need to go visit the service centre.
The Ford Mobile Service will kick-start with a pilot programme at the Ford Ara Damansara dealership, where customers can book Ford-certified technicians to carry out a range of essential maintenance services at their preferred time and location. In the near future, this service will be expanded to other Auto ConneXion outlets in Malaysia.
These services include engine oil changes, multipoint inspections, battery replacements, wiper and filter changes, and many more. To ensure top-notch service works, all the servicing works will be carried out using genuine Ford parts and manufacturer-approved tools while being handled by trained Ford technicians.
“We are pleased to introduce the Ford Mobile Service as part of our continuous efforts to bring greater value and convenience to enhance the ownership experience. This initiative enables customers to access professional care for their vehicles with the same confidence they would expect at a dealership,” said Turse Zuhair, managing director of Auto ConneXion-Ford.
The Ford Mobile Service operates from Monday to Friday, offering four service slots from 9.00 AM to 3.30 PM, and on Saturday, with two service slots from 9.00 AM to 11.00 AM. A fixed call-out fee will be applied to locations within a 20-kilometre radius of Ford Ara Damansara, with additional charges for distances beyond the area.
From June 2025 onwards, Ford customers can book appointments using the SDM OneGo mobile app, where they can select preferred times and service locations, as well as manage the booking. Alternatively, customers can also book appointments through Ford Ara Damansara’s customer service hotline at 03-7621 5111.
To celebrate its launch and encourage customers to try out the Ford Mobile Service, Auto ConneXion is also introducing an exclusive limited-time offer on the standard call-out fee, available once appointments are open for booking.
