Abarth and Stellantis Motorsport announced their groundbreaking collaboration recently, which aims to redefine the electric automotive landscape. Borne out of this is the 600e, which is the most powerful Abarth model ever with a claimed 240 HP output.
This high-performance project is based on the renowned eCMP platform, now rebranded as Perfo-eCMP.
This partnership pays homage to Abarth's rich racing history, where the brand's DNA has always been intertwined with competitions. The collaboration serves to enhance Abarth's DNA through a meticulously crafted platform, combining cutting-edge tech, racing expertise, engineering prowess, and extensive testing.
Every technical element has undergone thorough analysis, refinement, and tuning by a joint team of engineers, experts, and testers from Abarth and Motorsport. The outcome is a remarkable vehicle equipped with a high-performance powertrain and suspension featuring a dedicated setup for optimal handling, dynamics, and stability across various conditions.
To further elevate performance excellence, the upcoming Abarth 600e is equipped with a unique limited-slip differential tailored for the specific requirements of a Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) powertrain, accommodating its dynamic characteristics. Adding to which is the adoption of larger brake discs for superior heat dissipation and fade resistance.
On board, the 600e will get high-comfort seats with racing ergonomics crafted from four different foams for optimised support. These also feature an enveloping shape to provide stability and emphasise lateral support, ensuring durability with higher density foam.
As Abarth continues its electrification journey, it remains steadfastly faithful to its roots, with an unwavering focus on performance.
