Launched: Mercedes-Benz CLE 300 4Matic Coupe – RM518,888

MBM has revealed the official price for the new Mercedes-Benz CLE 300 4Matic Coupe previewed locally last month. This sleek new luxury GT commands RM518,888 sans insurance.

Previewed locally last month during the ‘Luxury Like No Other’ showcase by Mercedes-Benz Malaysia (MBM), the all-new Mercedes-Benz CLE 300 4Matic Coupe has gained an official pricing scheme from the firm.

Earlier today, MBM revealed that the new luxury GT coupe commands RM518,888 excluding insurance. Said figure is slightly lower than the initial estimate of RM526,000 placed by the firm during the model’s preview last month.

Revealed globally last year, the CLE Coupe stands as a direct successor to both the C-Class Coupe and E-Class Coupe.

This is the first new generation Mercedes-Benz offering on sale locally featuring the marque's latest all-LED Digital Light headlights.

As a refresher, the new CLE Coupe model (chassis code: C236) debuted last year as a direct replacement for both the C205-gen C-Class Coupe and C238-gen E-Class Coupe. An open-top Cabriolet (A236) twin is available, but not offered by MBM just yet.

For Malaysia, the CLE Coupe comes in 300 4Matic guise, which packs a 2.0-litre 4-cyl turbocharged petrol heart outputting 258 HP and 400 NM. Paired with a 9-speed automatic box and all-wheel-drive (AWD), this sleek GT coupe despatches 0-100 KM/H in just 6.2 seconds.

Under the hood, the CLE 300 4Matic Coupe packs a peppy 2.0-litre 4-cyl turbo powertrain outputting 258 HP and 400 NM. The chassis, on the other hand, also comes with Dynamic Body Control and Rear-Wheel-Steering (RWS) suites.

As detailed in our preview report, the CLE 300 4Matic Coupe stands as the first new-generation Mercedes-Benz model on sale locally featuring the marque’s all-new and all-LED Digital Light headlights. This gets matched with an exterior treated with the AMG Line package.

It is also worth noting that this variant of the CLE sees its chassis laced with both Dynamic Body Control adjustable suspension plus a rear-wheel-steering (RWS) suite. Altogether, these promises to deliver a more refined ride and enhanced agility.

On board, the CLE 300 4Matic Coupe is richly-equipped with loads of tech and high-end luxuries. Included too is the Driving Assistance Package Plus ADAS suite.

That aside, the CLE 300 4Matic Coupe for Malaysia also comes with an extensively rich features list primed with various luxuries, high-tech amenities, as well as the Driving Assistance Package Plus active driver assistance (ADAS) package enabling semi-autonomous driving abilities.
