BYD Opens New 3S Centre at Hartamas Shopping Centre
BYD Malaysia partners with Harmony Auto to open its new 3S centre at Hartamas Shopping Centre.
Leading EV marque BYD has expanded its Malaysian dealer network today as it opens a new outlet at the Hartamas Shopping Centre in Kuala Lumpur. Partnering with Harmony Auto, this is the first BYD 3S centre in Malaysia to be located inside a shopping centre.
Spanning about 8,000 square feet, the latest BYD outlet boasts a range of facilities designed to enhance its customer experience. Here, customers can find amenities like a spacious car display area, a luxurious customer lounge, dedicated discussion rooms, and a delivery area. Meanwhile, the outlet’s facade features four EV charging stations ready for any BYD owner to use.
Besides the showroom and EV chargers, the BYD Hartamas outlet also acts as both the service and spare parts centre for BYD cars in Malaysia, which will be opened later in Q4 this year. Once the 3S centre fully operational, this BYD outlet will be the first BYD 3S centre in Malaysia to be located in a shopping mall.
In conjunction with the opening ceremony, Harmony Auto also handed over 10 BYD units to its customers, with models ranging from the Dolphin EV hatch to the Seal EV saloon.
“The opening of the BYD Hartamas outlet in a mall not only brings new vitality to the Malaysian market but also injects new momentum into introducing Malaysia's green travel,” said Mr. Liang Xinyue, BYD Asia-Pacific president.
The BYD APAC boss also adds that the location is ideal as it offers customers the convenience of shopping for BYD products and servicing their cars as well. Liang believes that BYD customers in Hartamas and its surrounding areas are growing, and the opening of this new outlet meets the demand of customers looking for green vehicles.
