Stellantis Malaysia has announced new standard and extended warranty plans applicable to newly purchased models, namely the 408 (pictured), as well as the 2008, 3008, and 5008 crossover SUVs.

Stellantis Malaysia is beefing up its after-sales offer for the Peugeot brand locally. Earlier today, the firm announced a brand new standard warranty scheme applicable to newly purchased 2008, 3008, 5008, and newly launched 408 models.

New purchases of said models now come with a 5-year or 150,000 KM standard warranty coverage, whichever comes first. Stellantis Malaysia also clarified that this offer consists of a 3-year manufacturer’s warranty with an additional 2 years extended warranty arrangement.

Additionally, this can be lengthened through an optional 2-year extended warranty plan. If selected, customers will benefit with a warranty lasting up a 7-year or 200,000 KM span (whichever comes first).

Furthermore, customers can opt in for this extension at special promotional prices within the first 90 days, or at a normal prices before the last 90 days of their warranty periods. The prices are based on models mentioned as detailed below:

And before you ask, the Peugeot Landtrek 4x4 pick-up truck gets a slightly different offer. Recently re-launched at the Malaysia Autoshow 2024, the Landtrek is offered with a 3-year or 100,000 KM standard warranty coverage.

Within the first 90 days, the latter can be extended to 5-year or 150,000 KM span at RM2,942, or up to 7-year or 200,000 KM span at RM5,148 instead.

The recently re-launched Landtrek 4x4 pick-up truck, on the other hand, is offered with a different standard and extended warranty options instead.

“We want to give our customers the flexibility to choose their warranty coverage based on their needs. We understand that purchasing a new car is a significant investment, and this extended coverage reflects our promise to build long-lasting relationships,” said Jamie Francis Morais, MD of Stellantis Malaysia.
