ChargeSini Malaysia Top CPO Hits 750 EV Charging Points In Q2, 2024
To recap its positive network growth in Q2 2024, ChargeSini now operates over 750 EV charging points nationwide.
Leading local EV charging point operator (CPO) ChargeSini has recorded positive growth in Q2 this year, achieving some significant milestones along the way. To date, ChargeSini has established over 750 EV charging points in the country, which solidifies its position as one of the largest CPOs currently operating in Malaysia.
Part-and-parcel of ChargeSini’s rapid growth is due to the strategic distribution of its EV charging network. Currently, one-third of the chargers under ChargeSini’s network are located in condominiums, another third are placed in malls and supermarkets, and the remaining one-third are positioned within close proximity of commercial buildings such as offices and restaurants.
To recap its rapid growth in Q2 this year, ChargeSini added ten new EV charging locations to its network in April alone. These ten new charging stations comprise 26 AC charging ports and two DC charging ports, with the latter two coming from the new DC charging station located at Festival Walk in Ipoh, Perak.
In April 2024, ChargeSini also inaugurated the largest residential EV charging facility located at Tamara Residence in Putrajaya.
The firm capped off the month by signing a groundbreaking Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with KTC Arkz Group to install 40 EV charging bays at Seri Iskandar Heights, as well as inaugurating the largest residential EV charging facility in Putrajaya at Tamara Residence, in the esteemed presence of Putrajaya MP YB Datuk Dr. Mohd Radzi bin Md Jidin.
Moving on to May 2024, ChargeSini has installed 32 new AC chargers and three DC fast chargers spread across 11 key locations, including The Food Merchant OUG and Sunway Medical Centre Penang. May 2024 also saw ChargeSini busy making their presence in several key exhibitions, notably both the Future Mobility Asia Exhibition and Summit in Bangkok, Thailand, and the Malaysia Autoshow 2024 held in MAEPS, Selangor.
Additionally, ChargeSini ended the month by penning a significant partnership deal with Sunway Group and Huawei Malaysia to expand EV charging stations at Sunway properties nationwide, further enhancing Malaysia's EV infrastructure.
In June 2024, the firm installed 14 new AC charging ports spread across three key locations, with four of them located at the Concorde Hotel Shah Alam. In addition to the new chargers, ChargeSini has also penned a deal with PRO-NET to integrate its DC charging stations into PRO-NET’s vast EV charging network. This partnership will allow smart EV owners to access ChargeSini’s DC charging stations seamlessly using the Hello smart mobile app.
Furthermore, ChargeSini has also signed a PhD research MoU with Multimedia University (MMU) for an AI-powered partnership, paving the way for smarter, greener solutions in the EV revolution.
Looking ahead, ChargeSini is poised for even greater growth and expansion. With over 300 locations currently pending installation, the company is set to further strengthen its position as the leading EV charging network in Malaysia.
In the coming months, ChargeSini is poised to participate in the upcoming Electric & Power Vietnam 2024 exhibition, set to take place in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. This prestigious exhibition will not only provide an opportunity to showcase ChargeSini’s innovative solutions on an international stage but also facilitate the exploration of new markets and potential partnerships.
