JPJ Appoints Aedy Fadly Ramli As New DG Effective From July 23

Earlier this week, the Road Transport Department (JPJ) took to its official Facebook page to announce that the department has appointed a new Director General effective July 23, 2024. Serving in said role for the department now is its former Deputy Director General Aedy Fadly Ramli.
Aedy succeeds predecessor Datuk Rospiagos Taha who has helmed said position since June 19, 2023. Prior to stepping down, Datuk Rospiagos was present in a special ceremony held recently where he received the department’s newly acquired Toyota Fortuner SUVs fleet.

Prior to his latest appointment as Director General, Aedy had served as Datuk Rospiagos’ deputy since 2021. According to a press release issued by the department, Aedy is highly experienced in strategic planning of policies, issues and systems related to road transport.
The department further details that Aedy is also well versed with its operational planning. It also adds that is a graduate of the Berlin University of Technology, Germany and holds a Masters degree of science in urban management.
With his promotion from Deputy DG to DG this week, Aedy is expected to continue driving JPJ’s excellence as the main agency regulating road transport affairs, says the department.
