MINI Impact Program by Urban-X Welcomes Entry From Local Startups
MINI Malaysia announced earlier today that its global innovation initiative called the MINI Impact Program by Urban-X is now welcoming entries and submissions from local Malaysia-based startups. Specifically, the program seeks proposals for innovative and sustainable urban solutions.
Besides transformative urban solutions, this novel program was designed to help startups that are also working on developing climate technologies. Globally, this initiative began in 2022 and successfully fostered startups from Europe, America, Africa and Asia prior. This year, it has expanded to welcome entries hailing from Malaysia, the Netherlands, Japan, the UK, India, Mexico and Italy.
Running for four weeks, the MINI Impact Program offers selected startups with an opportunity to participate in a comprehensive development process. It encompasses a three-week remote participation period before culminating with a final week-long stint at the Urban-X headquarters in New York City.

Through Urban-X, participants of this programme will gain access to a wide range of resources such as engineering and design support, venture capital (investments) and the privilege to connect with a global network of investors, policymakers and industry leaders. The program aims to leverage on these resources to help startups refine their innovations and scale their impact on urban lives.
Got a novel solution concept to develop into reality? Submissions for which are opened locally from now until Aug 31. Interested startups vying to apply entry into this program, as well as garner more information on which, can do so online via both the MINI Malaysia and Urban-X websites now.
