UMWT Charts Strong Sales Performance in July 2024

UMWT charted a strong sales performance for July this year, with over 9,000 units in the month alone.
UMW Toyota Motor (UMWT) has charted a robust sales performance for July this year, with total monthly sales of over 9,000 units. This positive sales figure brings its year-to-date to more than 55,800 units as of July 2024, with the automaker claiming its initiatives and promotions have helped to reach this positive sales result.

Apart from a strong sales record, UMWT launched two new Lexus models last month, both of which coincidentally are electrified. The first one was the Lexus RZ450e, which is Lexus Malaysia’s first all-electric model, while the second one was the Lexus LBX, a stylish compact hybrid SUV crossover.

Throughout this festive Merdeka month of August, the automaker will be organising its “Discover Merdeka Exclusives” promotion, where customers can enjoy broad promotional savings worth up to RM8,000 for the Toyota Corolla Cross Hybrid, with monthly purchase instalments starting from only RM1,058. On top of that, there’s also the Toyota Service Savers programme which offers convenient monthly instalments for your servicing needs, starting from as low as RM31.

Also happening during this Merdeka month is the Merdeka Showroom Weekender, a patriotic-themed event set to take place on August 17 and 18 from 9 AM to 5 PM at all Toyota showrooms across the nation. Visitors to these showrooms can go for a test drive with any Toyota model, including the Yaris, Vios, Hilux, Corolla Cross, and many more.
“We are proud to celebrate Malaysia’s independence with our Merdeka Showroom Weekender. This event not only offers exclusive promotions and showcases our latest models but also embodies our commitment to providing exceptional customer experiences and fostering community connections. As we introduce new innovations, we remain dedicated to our customer-first philosophy and our vision to “Move Your World”, said Datuk Ravindran K., UMWT president.
