UMWT June 2024 Sales Saw 7,600 Units Shifted

June 2024 saw UMW Toyota (UMWT) shifted 7,600 vehicles, bringing its first half (1H) of 2024 total up to 47,000 units.
UMW Toyota Motor (UMWT) released a press statement yesterday announcing its June 2024 sales. Last month, the firm shifted a total of 7,600 vehicles, bringing its total sales for the first half (1H) of 2024 up to 47,000 units.
Its June 2024 sales figure marks a 9.8% drop over the previous month, and 12.3% drop compared to the same month last year. As for its 1H 2024 total sales, the figure released stands 3.4% lower over the same timeframe last year.

Nevertheless, UMWT remains upbeat, noting its June 2024 sales as a “strong” month, and the firm attributes which stemming from promotional efforts plus its renewed focus on both customers satisfaction and social responsibility.
"We are grateful for the trust our customers have given us, which is reflected in our sales this month. This trust strengthens our commitment to society and aligns with our vision to Move Your World," said UMWT president Datuk Ravindran K. in the press statement issued.

Looking ahead, UMWT introduced a new “Peace of Mind with Every Drive” promotion this month, which offers up to 100% financing on selected models. Included here are discounts of up to RM7,500 for the Yaris hatch with monthly instalments rate as low as RM688 monthly.
The same effort also sees UMWT pushing its Toyota Service Savers programme with instalments rate as low as RM31.

Additionally, another of UMWT’s “Toyota Showroom Weekender” event was held last weekend – July 13 and 14 – nationwide. Models like the Yaris, Vios, Corolla Cross, Hilux, along with test-drives, sales offers, trade-ins plus Topmark pre-owned models were highlighted.
UMWT says it will continue to host more of these “Toyota Showroom Weekender” events every month.
