Lotus Store Penang Officially Opens – First Store Outside of KL

Lotus Cars Malaysia has officially opened Lotus Store Penang—the first of its kind outside of the Klang Valley area.
Lotus Cars Malaysia has expanded its dealership network by opening its third-ever outlet here in Malaysia. Located in Penang, this Lotus Store is the first one to be located outside of the Klang Valley area, as the brand stakes its presence in the Northern Peninsula Malaysia region for the first time in 28 years.

Lotus Store Penang is strategically located in the heart of Georgetown, where it features the latest brand image complete with a dedicated showroom area for customers to size up two Lotus models displayed there, such as the Eletre SUV and Emira mid-engined sportscar. Besides the showroom, this outlet also features a dedicated configurator lounge that provides an immersive experience for potential customers to personalise their ideal Lotus vehicles.
Commenting on this momentous occasion, Lotus Cars Malaysia Executive Director Mohamed Reza bin Abdul Mutalib said, “Penang is a very important and strategic location for Lotus Cars Malaysia, and we are extremely pleased to unveil the fully operational facility in 2024.”
Meanwhile, president and CEO of Lotus Cars Europe, Asia Pacific, Middle East, and Africa Dan Balmer said, "We are incredibly excited with the launch of the newest Lotus store in Malaysia with our long-standing valued partner at Lotus Cars Malaysia. We look forward to welcoming Lotus owners from around Malaysia to experience the full range of Lotus vehicles at this exceptional new home of Lotus in Penang.”

The newly-opened Lotus Store Penang is located at No. 2A-01-02, Jalan Penang, 10000 Georgetown, Pulau Pinang. It is open from Mondays to Saturdays from 10 AM to 7 PM and from 10.30 AM to 4.30 PM on Sundays and public holidays.

Apart from the new Lotus Store in Penang, Lotus Cars Malaysia is also organising a special Lotus Factory Experience trip for new Lotus Emira customers. Set to take place in April and Oct 2025, Emira owners will get to visit Lotus’ production facility in Hethel, UK, which is the birthplace of the Emira sportscar, as well as home to the iconic Lotus test track.

Besides the Emira, Lotus Cars Malaysia’s product line also comprises several all-electric products, such as the Eletre hyper-SUV that starts from RM598,800 and the newly-launched Emeya hyper-GT, which currently retails from RM555,000 onwards.
