UMWT Has Sold Over 100K Cars For The Third Consecutive Year in 2024

UMWT has surpassed the 100,000-unit sales mark for the third consecutive time in 2024, with a total of 102,300 units sold.
UMW Toyota Motor (UMWT) has charted yet another milestone in 2024 by surpassing the 100,000-unit mark for its total vehicle sales in three consecutive years. This stellar success was achieved by the automaker after shipping out 12,800 units in Dec 2024, which brought the total annual units sold to more than 102,300 in 2024 alone.
Part and parcel of UMWT’s sales success is due to the stellar aftersales support provided by the automaker. In 2024 alone, UMWT recorded 1.42 million returning customers for aftersales services, thus showcasing Toyota’s commitment to better customer satisfaction by providing quality services.

Not to forget, the arrival of the two of its latest models, namely the facelifted Toyota Corolla Cross SUV and the new, ninth-gen Toyota Camry saloon, has played a role in boosting UMWT’s sales number in 2024. Additionally, key models like the Vios and Hilux also contributed to its annual sales figure, with both models often ranked on top of their respective segments.
Additionally, both of the aforementioned models are also offered in hybrid (HEV) versions, which underlines Toyota’s multi-pathway approach in meeting the evolving needs of Malaysian consumers while supporting the nation’s transition toward sustainable mobility.
Moving forward to 2025, UMWT remains committed to continuing its stellar sales streak, with several new and upcoming models already in the brand’s pipeline for debut later in 2025.
