Xiaomi SU7 Gets A Limited Edition Brilliant Magenta Colour
Xiaomi has revealed a new limited-edition hue for the Xiaomi SU7, the company's first electric vehicle. The consumer electronics firm that manufactures cars is commemorating its 15th anniversary with the debut of Brilliant Magenta, the tenth colour option for this model.
Three hues were offered when the SU7 made its debut in 2023: Mineral Grey, Verdant Green, and Aqua Blue. Meteor Blue, Radiant Purple, and Lava Orange are among the six new tones that were added to the collection in 2024.

Starting on January 1, customers will be able to order the new limited edition Brilliant Magenta hue via the Xiaomi Auto app, and starting in February 2025, they will be able to purchase it in physical stores.
Xiaomi has also unveiled a themed design for smartphones dedicated to the SU7. Users can download it for free through the Xiaomi theme store. Parts of the design include custom icons and backgrounds that draw inspiration from the phenomenal EV.

The SU7 electric vehicle has proven to be a successful project for Xiaomi. The company had projected to sell 100,000 units in 2024, but by mid-November, it had already exceeded that total. By the end of the year, orders reached 130,000 in total marking a significant milestone for Xiaomi.
In order to strengthen its position in the domestic EV market, Xiaomi has also revealed plans to launch two additional models in 2025: the Xiaomi YU7 crossover and the three-motor SU7 Ultra sedan.
