Porsche Esports Sprint Challenge Malaysia 2025 Registration Opens
Porsche Malaysia (SDAP) announced the return of its popular Porsche Esports Sprint Challenge Malaysia sim-racing tournament.
Porsche Malaysia (Sime Darby Auto Performance – SDAP) announced the return of its popular Porsche Esports Sprint Challenge Malaysia sim-racing tournament earlier this week. This year’s running will take over across the next three months starting from the end of April.
For this second instalment, the tournament will be held using the RaceRoom Racing Experience sim-racing title. Like before, the tournament is also opened to all Malaysians aged between 10 to 25 years old, and online registration is now opened from March 20 to April 16.
Details and steps to register for this year's edition of the Porsche Esports Sprint Challenge Malaysia tournament.
Three age categories have been made available, those being the ‘Junior Dreamers’ class for youths aged between 10 to 14 years old, followed by the ‘Young Dreamers’ class for teens aged between 15 to 17 years old, whilst the ‘Driven Dreamers’ class for adults aged 18 to 25 years old caps things off.
Upon successful registrations, participants will first need to enter in a 10-minute qualifying round slated to take place from April 12 to April 20. Notably, registered contestants can enter this stage of the tournament either remotely from home, or at any Porsche Centre nationwide by setting an appointment beforehand.
Participants will qualify virtually using a 992 Porsche 911 GT3 Cup car at Japan’s famed Twin Ring Motegi circuit.
The tournament will be held using the renowned RaceRoom Experience sim-racing title, and all contestants are set to race using a virtual rendition of the 992 Porsche 911 GT3 Cup car.
Those who qualify for Round 2 will then enter in an in-person qualifying session where they will receive personal coaching at the following Porsche Centre and corresponding dates:
Next, the Top 10 quickest drivers in each age category from each Porsche centre will battle it out in a final qualifiers held at the Bangsar Shopping Centre (BSC) on May 25 and 26. From here, only the Top 10 drivers from each category will advanced into the Finals.
Said Finals will be held at the Petronas Sepang International Circuit (SIC) on June 8 in conjunction with the Malaysian leg of this year’s Porsche Carrera Cup Asia one-make racing championship.
Think you have what it takes to be crowned as a top Porsche e-racer? Keen participants can register their entries now via the official Porsche Esports Sprint Challenge Malaysia website.
