Launched: 2025 Porsche 911 GT3 – From RM2.29 Million
Porsche Malaysia (SDAP) officially introduced the 2025 Porsche 911 GT3 range today. Present for which too was Porsche Brand Ambassador Jörg Bergmeister.

Earlier today, Porsche Malaysia (Sime Darby Auto Performance – SDAP) officially marked the arrival of the updated 2025 Porsche 911 GT3 range. Both the GT3 and GT3 with Touring Package guises were shown, the latter marking its official Malaysian market debut too.
Both bowed earlier today in a special launch held at the PETRONAS Sepang International Circuit (SIC). Present here too was Porsche Brand Ambassador Jörg Bergmeister – much to the thrills of leading local customers, press and invited enthusiasts.
GT3 designation marks this as the most lightweight and driver-focused form of the iconic Porsche 911 sportscar.

Two guises are available, those being the track-focused 911 GT3 (left) and the understated, road-focused 911 GT3 with Touring Package (right) - the latter is offered officially in Malaysia for the first time.

For the uninitiated, the GT3 designation denotes this as the most lightweight and driver-focused guise of the still iconic and recently updated eight-generation (992.2) Porsche 911 sports coupe. The latter was recently launched locally too packing a host of big and small improvements.
Slotting below the extreme 911 GT3 RS trackday special, both GT3 guises are easily set apart thanks to several distinguishing features. Starting with the GT3, this is touted as the most circuit-focused trimline, evident by the sizeable fixed rear wing primed.
The GT3 with Touring Package, launched in Malaysia for the first time, takes on a more road-focused and understated approach instead. The latter perhaps aptly explains the absence of the large rear wing seen in the GT3.

The more track-focused 2025 Porsche 911 GT3 is easily distinguished by its adoption of a sizeable rear wing.

Shared across both too is the GT3 nameplate’s signature rear-mounted 4.0-litre ‘Boxer’ flat 6-cyl powerplant. This highly visceral, naturally aspirated mill has received minor upgrades to put out 510 PS and 540 Nm of twist, revving all the way up to 9,000 RPM too.
Both a 7-speed PDK dual-clutch automatic and 6-speed GT manual transmission choices are available, both featuring a revised and 8% shorter final drive ratio. The former sees 0-100 km/h dashes done in 3.4 secs whilst the latter does the same in 3.9 secs.

The 911 GT3 with Touring Package takes on a more understated approach by ditching the rear wing and focusing more on lightweight agility.

Shared too are the redesigned Matrix LED headlights, enlarged inlets, updated rear diffuser, beefed up suspension with reduced pitching, as well as staggered 20-inch (255/35 profile) front and 21-inch (315.50 profile) rear lightweight aluminium wheels.
Both also share improved new sports tyres with heightened wet grip levels, touts Porsche. Optionally, customers can also specify track tyres with road approval instead.

Lightweight aluminium wheels come as standard, though even lighter magnesium options are available too.

Unique to the GT3 too is the option between 7-speed PDK (left) or 6-speed GT manual (right), both revised with an 8% shorter final drive ratio now too.

Moving into the cabin and the GT3 ditches the regular 911’s push-button ignition for a ‘classic’ rotary dial switch instead. Optionally available here too are new lightweight sports bucket seats with CFRP shell and a track-ready roll-over bar.
Unique to the GT3 is the ‘Track Screen' display mode for the digital instrument panel. This reduces the displays to the left and right of the tachometer to key data (tyres, oil, water and fuel), and it also indicates optimal shift times by way of a shift flash.

Porsche have readied specially-tailored individual optional packages for both the 911 GT3 and 911 GT3 with Touring Package, each featuring a host of unique equipment combinations.

Notably, Porsche have also readied a slew of specially-tailored individual optional packages for both the GT3 and GT3 with Touring Package. Included here are the Weissach Package and Clubsport Package (GT3), followed by the Leichtbau (Lightweight) Package (Touring).
Depending on package, each brings unique additions like magnesium wheels, lithium-ion battery, bolted steel roll cage, six-point harness for the driver, as well as a fire extinguisher, amongst many others.
Also available are matching Porsche Design 911 GT3 and 911 GT3 Touring chronographs exclusively for owners to opt in on.

Additionally, matching Porsche Design 911 GT3 and 911 GT3 Touring chronographs are also available exclusively for owners to opt-in on. Like the focused cars they match, these are powered by a COSC-certified movement encased in an ultra-lightweight case design.
Lastly, price. Both the 2025 Porsche 911 GT3 and 911 GT3 with Touring Package share the same starting price - from RM2,290,000 excluding options. Orders can now be placed at any Porsche Centre nationwide (Ara Damansara, Sungai Besi, Penang and Johor Bahru).
