PCJB Completes First Full Classic Porsche Restoration In Malaysia
Pictured is a classic 1967 Porsche 911 T that was fully restored by the Porsche Classic Partner centre based in the Porsche Centre Johor Bahru (PCJB).

Porsche Malaysia (Sime Darby Auto Performance - SDAP) revealed earlier today that the Porsche Centre Johor Bahru (PCJB) charted a unique new milestone for the firm. In fact, the centre just completed its first full restoration project via its Classic Porsche arm.
The model that underwent this rejuvenation is a Porsche 911 T. First launched by the Porsche marque as far back as 1967, it stood as the entry-level variant of the marque’s first-generation signature 911 sports coupe. The ‘T’ designation in its name stood for ‘Touring’.
Said 911 T unit pictured now stands as the first Porsche-certified full classic restoration project completed in Malaysia.

The 911 T unit pictured was fully restored locally in house by PCJB technicians certified under the Porsche Classic Partner programme. In turn, this also makes it the first Porsche-certified full classic restoration project to be completed in Malaysia.
As a refresher, PCJB first opened in 2022 as Porsche Malaysia’s sole 4S centre with an in-house certified body & paint (B&P) facility. Moreover, it is also home to the only Porsche Classic Partner centre in Malaysia tailored for models that have gone out of production for at least 10 years.

As a refresher, PCJB first opened back in late 2022 as the brand's first full-fledged 4S outlet. Besides a B&P centre, it's also home to Malaysia's only Porsche Classic Partner centre too.

The effort went beyond ‘repair’ as it involved full disassembly, documentation, and subsequent rebuild of every panel and component to its original factory specifications. This, Porsche says, was driven by a deep respect for the car’s heritage too.
The project’s completion underscores the capabilities of both PCJB and the team running it. The firm add this is merely “the beginning” for the Porsche Classic Partner programme hosted by the outlet, which aims to keep automotive dreams alive, one classic at a time.

Every panel and component in this 911 T was fully disassembled, documented and then rebuilt to original factory specifications, says Porsche.

More details about the Porsche Classic Partner programme from PCJB are available online via this link. You can also check out the 911 T restored by said arm in full via the gallery prepared below.
