See The Denza Z9 GT This Weekend In Desa Park City

The Denza brand is set to host its first local roadshow this weekend at Plaza Arkadia, Desa ParkCity, Kuala Lumpur. Themed ‘DENZA and BYD Electrifying Experience,’ the event runs from March 14 to March 16.
Since its launch last month, the Denza D9 luxury EV MPV has gained significant traction in Malaysia, with 800 units sold in its first week. A special handover ceremony for early customers will take place on Saturday (March 15) as part of the roadshow mentioned.
Test drives will also be available on offer for visitors interested in experiencing the D9’s features and performance. The event runs daily from 10AM to 10PM.

Two variants of the Denza D9 are available locally - Advanced FWD priced at RM259,000, and Premium AWD tagged at RM309,000. Both come equipped with 103.3 kWh LFP Blade battery packs. The former’s single front motor produces 308 HP and 360 NM, whereas the latter gains a dual-motor setup with 369 HP and 470 NM instead.
The quickest version accelerates from 0-100 KM/H in 6.9 secs, and the most efficient of the lot offers an NEDC-rated range of up to 600 KM. Both also support 11 kW AC and 166 kW DC charging speeds.
Besides that, Denza Malaysia also confirmed that the Denza Z9 GT will be publicly showcased at this roadshow, albeit via a special presentation set for every two-hour interval at the event. This is the second time the Z9 GT is showcased in Malaysia following its initial tease to local press during the D9’s launch.

The Z9GT is a high-performance grand tourer that could be introduced in Malaysia soon. As a refresher, the sleek four-door GT is available globally in both plug-in hybrid (PHEV) and a fully electric (EV) guises.
The PHEV pairs a 2.0-litre 4-cyl turbo petrol mill with a series of e-motors and a 38.5 kWh Blade battery pack, altogether outputting 870 PS to enable 0-100 KM/H sprints in 3.6 secs and 1,100 KM range.
Its EV twin packs a 100 kWh battery pack instead, which juices a series of e-motors that boasts combined outputs as high as 963 PS. This version of the Z9 GTR also boasts up to 630 KM range, as well as century sprint times as quick as 3.4 secs.
In addition to the vehicle displays, the event will feature a technology showcase, a sound and lounge experience, as well as scores of family-friendly activities.
Lastly, roadshow visitors who purchase a Denza D9 here or via any Denza outlet before March 16 will receive a complimentary wallbox with an installation card and a six-year free service package.
