The A_A series received overwhelming interest from the public. A total of 24,470 individuals participated in the bidding process, with 6,746 successful bidders securing their desired registration numbers.

The A_A series bidding exercise successfully recorded a total revenue collection of RM24,022,793, says the ministry.

MOT adds that proceeds from which will support and fund  the various public initiatives performed by the ministry. Amongst them are its MyLESEN, Helmet Exchange Programme, and FlySISWA.

As we had highlighted prior, the A_A series, despite having the “A” prefix, is not a Perak state registration number. Instead, this series falls under the Wilayah Persekutuan registration scheme.

Both MOT and JPJ extend their congratulations to all successful bidders who officially received their results on April 24. The agency also expressed its commitment to further  enhancing and expanding its digital services to ensure efficient and accessible service delivery for all Malaysians.
