EAIC Investigates JPJ KL Officers for HRMIS Misconduct
![]()
The Enforcement Agency Integrity Commission (EAIC) has uncovered misconduct involving several officers from the Kuala Lumpur Federal Territory Road Transport Department (JPJ KL).
In a statement released today, EAIC revealed that its investigation found JPJ officers failed to properly update or declare the disposal of government assets in the Human Resource Management Information System (HRMIS).
The investigation was carried out under Section 27(4) of the EAIC Act 2009 [Act 700] following a complaint related to multiple vehicle registration numbers.

According to EAIC, several vehicles registered under JPJ KL officers had not been officially declared obsolete in the HRMIS system — despite those vehicles no longer being in their possession for some time.
This failure constitutes a breach of Regulation 10(2) of the Public Servants (Conduct and Discipline) Regulations 1993 [P.U. (A) 395/1993].
As a result, the EAIC has referred the matter to the JPJ Disciplinary Board and recommended that warning letters be issued to the officers involved.
