Keretapi Tanah Melayu Berhad (KTMB) will be upgrading the signalling system between Kepong Station and Salak Selatan Station over a three-day period, starting this Saturday, May 31, until Monday, June 2.

During this time, KTM Komuter and ETS (Electric Train Service) schedules will be temporarily adjusted, and some trains may face delays of up to 50 minutes from their usual times.

This will affect Komuter services running on the Pulau Sebang–Batu Caves–Pulau Sebang and Tanjung Malim–KL Sentral–Tanjung Malim routes, along with all ETS services.

On May 31, two ETS services, EG9425 from Padang Besar to Segamat and EG9321 from Butterworth to Segamat, will also have platform changes at KL Sentral and Kuala Lumpur stations. KTMB will have staff at the affected stations to assist passengers in finding the right platforms.

These works were previously postponed to avoid disruption due to road closures during the 46th ASEAN Summit, which ran from May 23 to May 29.

Passengers are advised to plan their travel carefully during this period and to check the latest schedules using the MyRailtime feature in the KTMB Mobile app. It’s also important to pay attention to station announcements and follow KTMB’s official social media for updates.

ETS passengers who may be affected will receive SMS notifications in advance.
