Launched: 2025 Mercedes-Benz EQV 300 Avantgarde – 374 KM Range, RM450,350
Officially introduced locally by Hap Seng Trucks Division Sdn Bhd (HSTD) this week is the face-lifted 2025 Mercedes-Benz EQV 300 Avantgarde EV MPV.

Earlier this week, Hap Seng Trucks Division Sdn Bhd (HSTD), the importers and distributors of Mercedes-Benz vans, trucks and Fuso Trucks, introduced the new and face-lifted 2025 Mercedes-Benz EQV electric commercial van model this week.
Entering the local luxury battery electric vehicle (BEV) MPV market-segment, the refreshed Mercedes-Benz EQV makes landfall in Malaysia solely in EQV 300 Avantgarde guise. Notably, this is the first iteration of the W447-gen EV MPV model offered by HSTD locally.
We’ll add that the pre-facelift guise was not officially offered by HSTD but did enter the local marketspace as a parallel import (grey import) or ‘recond’ offering.
This is the first iteration of the W447-gen EV MPV model offered officially in Malaysia - its predecessors had landed as 'recond' parallel or grey imports.

We’ll dive straight into powertrain, and the EQV 300 offered by HSTD packs a single front-mounted e-motor unit outputting 204 PS and 365 NM. Juicing it is a sizeable 90 kWh lithium-ion battery pack.
The latter brings a claimed maximum WLTP-rated range of up to 374 KM with each full charge. Speaking of, said pack accepts both 11 kW AC and up to 110 kW DC charging inputs, the latter enabling 10-80% re-charges in just 40 minutes.

Visual refreshments bring a revised grille framed by illumination with a prominent three-point star emblem grille insert, new 17-inch alloy wheels, and 'Mercedes-Benz' rear windscreen script badge.

Visually, the EQV 300 Avantgarde features the three-point star’s distinct all-LED forward and rear lights, gloss-black grille framed by illumination, prominent three-point star emblem grille insert, as well as painted slats integrated in the lower bumper.
Special visual touches continue with the ‘Mercedes-Benz’ script badge in the rear windscreen base, as well as new 17-inch alloy wheels coming as part of the ‘facelift’.
As for footprint, the EQV 300 Avantgarde sits 5,140 MM long with a 3,200 MM wheelbase, 1,918 MM wide and 1,923 MM tall.

Housed within the 3,200 MM wheelbase is a three-row, seven seat layout in 2-2-3 arrangement.
