Xpeng Surpasses 800,000-Unit Delivery Milestone
![]()
After more than six years, China’s Xpeng has finally reached the 800,000-unit delivery milestone.
Xpeng has just reached a new milestone, where the Chinese premium automaker's cumulative vehicle deliveries have just exceeded 800,000 units, taking them more than six years to reach the mark.
This milestone came after Xpeng posted a positive sales record in June 2025, where the automaker delivered 34,611 vehicles, putting it fourth among other new energy vehicle (NEV) startups in China. This marks a significant year-on-year (YOY) increase of 224%, as well as the eighth consecutive time Xpeng has surpassed 30,000 units for its monthly deliveries.

On a larger scale, Xpeng’s June 2025 sales figure has brought its first half of 2025 (1H 2025) delivery number to 197,189 units, exceeding its full-year delivery volume of 190,068 units back in 2024.
With this positive momentum, Xpeng is on track to reach its annual sales target of 380,000 vehicles in 2025. Moreover, the automaker also targets to penetrate into several new markets this year, with an aim to establish its presence in 60 countries and regions by the end of this year. Said target also includes the establishment of more than 300 overseas after-sales service centres worldwide.

Helping Xpeng to reach its ambitious target are several new and upcoming models, with the former including the recently-launched G7, with said midsize EV SUV having reportedly received 10,000 orders just a few minutes after its launch. Not to forget, Xpeng has also launched both the 2025 version of the G6 and G9 EV SUVs, with the former set to make its Malaysian debut later this year.

Including the three aforementioned models, Xpeng currently has seven models under its arm, including the Mona M03 saloon, the X9 MPV, the P7+, and the P7i.
Beyond battery EVs, Xpeng is also planning to venture into the extended-range EV (EREV) game, with CarNewsChina reporting at least five EREV models will be launched by the automaker, covering both sedans and SUVs. Said news portal also added that two of the five upcoming models will simply be the EREV version of both the G6 and P7 EVs.

Founded back in 2014 by He Xiaopeng, Xpeng is considered one of the pioneers among many other Chinese NEV start-ups that focused on research and development of smart NEVs. The automaker launched its first mass-produced model, the Xpeng G3, back in Dec 2018, before getting listed on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) in 2020.
