The Road Transport Department (JPJ) is rolling out safety advocacy and awareness programmes ahead of the RXZ Members 7.0 2025 gathering, set for Aug 23 at the Gong Badak Motor Circuit in Terengganu.
JPJ director-general Datuk Aedy Fadly Ramli said the initiative is in line with Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim’s recognition of the motorcycling community as not just a driver of unity and friendship, but also a contributor to local economic activity.
“This high-impact event gathers enthusiasts from across the country while promoting a healthier, more positive image of motorcycling culture. JPJ’s role is to focus on advocacy, safety education and smooth logistics for all participants,” he said in a statement on Thursday.

On Aug 18, the Prime Minister announced a RM100,000 allocation to support the event, underscoring the government’s acknowledgment of bikers’ role in society.
Aedy urged participants to ride responsibly and adhere to road regulations.
“We hope this event not only reflects a harmonious motorcycling culture, but also strengthens unity and sparks patriotism among Malaysians,” he said.
As part of its ongoing helmet exchange programme, the department will distribute 3,000 helmets to early visitors to encourage greater safety awareness.

“JPJ remains committed to the Madani government’s agenda of building a positive, safe and sustainable motoring culture for the well-being of the people and the prosperity of the nation,” Aedy added.
