Honda Malaysia Provides e:N1 EVs for the 45th ASEAN Railways CEOs’ Conference

Honda Malaysia has partnered with KTMB to provide 25 units of the e:N1 for the 45th ASEAN Railways CEOs’ Conference.
Honda Malaysia has partnered with Keretapi Tanah Melayu Berhad (KTMB) to serve as the official car transport partner for the 45th ASEAN Railways CEOs’ Conference (ARCEOs). For this five-day landmark event that welcomed representatives from key ASEAN nations, the automaker fleeted 25 units of its first EV model, the Honda e:N1, in a bid to provide safe, efficient, and sustainable travel for the delegates.
This collaboration between Honda Malaysia and KTMB underscores the automaker’s commitment to enhancing mobility solutions and its dedication to providing safe, efficient, and sustainable travel. More importantly, this summit also allows Honda to highlight its battery electric vehicle (BEV) technology while supporting ASEAN’s sustainability goals with a greener and smarter mode of transportation.

Commenting on this partnership, Honda Malaysia MD and CEO Narushi Yazaki said, “We are proud to support this prestigious event and KTMB by ensuring a seamless commuting experience across the Klang Valley for delegates. This collaboration symbolises the strong synergy between the railway and automotive industries in advancing sustainable mobility.
“This goal resonates with our brand promise, ‘The Power of Dreams, How We Move You,’ as we leverage Honda’s technology to connect people, communities, and industries while delivering the joy and freedom of mobility,” the CEO continued.
Meanwhile, Ir. Ahmad Nizam Mohamed Amin, covering group CEO of KTMB and chairman of the organising committee for the 45th ARCEOs, said, “As host, KTMB takes immense pride in welcoming distinguished leaders of the ASEAN railway fraternity to Kuala Lumpur for the 45th ARCEOs.
“This year’s conference is more than just a dialogue, it is a powerful platform to unlock opportunities, strengthen collaboration, and advance our shared vision of regional connectivity, economic growth, and sustainable mobility across ASEAN and beyond,” he continued.

Launched earlier this year as the brand’s first all-electric model in Malaysia, the Honda e:N1 is essentially the BEV twin to the Honda HR-V B-segment SUV, priced at RM149,900. Arriving as a fully imported (CBU) offering, the e:N1 is powered by a single, front-mounted (FWD) electric motor that delivers 201 hp and 310 Nm, while juice is provided by a 68.8-kWh lithium-ion battery for up to 412 km of WLTP range.
