Previewed: iCaur V23 – 2 Variants, Up To 501 KM Range, Q4 Launch, Est. From RM145,000
the Icaur V23 EV lifestyle off-roader was previewed earlier this evening, with two variants set for launch sometime in Q4 this year.

Part of the ever-expanding Chery Corporate Malaysia portfolio of brands, iCaur Malaysia (iCaur) previewed its second offering for the Malaysian market earlier this evening. Set for launch in the final quarter (Q4) of this year is the iCaur V23 all-electric lifestyle off-roader.
First previewed locally in left-hand-drive (LHD) form earlier this year at MAS 2025, with right-hand-drive (RHD) spotted locally recently too, the iCaur V23 slots above the iCaur 03 model that was just launched last month.
“The iCaur V23 introduces a refined blend of retro-inspired design, adventure-ready capability, and intelligent technology packages that we believe resonate strongly with the aspirations of Malaysian consumers,” touts iCaur Malaysia Marketing Director, Daniel Lai, earlier today at the model’s preview held just outside Starhill Gallery in Bukit Bintang, Kuala Lumpur.
ICaur Malaysia management also elected to announce estimate starting prices of RM145,000 (2WD) and RM155,000 (iWD) during today's preview too.

Like the iCaur 03, the iCaur V23 is set to see two variants offered locally – 2WD and iWD guises. At today’s preview, the automaker also announced estimated price figures of RM145,000 and RM155,000 respectively, and that bookings are now opened through all iCaur dealerships.
Before you ask, the iCaur V23 boasts rather compact dimensions, sitting some 4,220 mm long with a 2,735 mm wheelbase, 1,915 mm wide and 1,845 mm tall.
Besides the rugged, retro-infused and squared body styling, the iCaur V23 again mirrors its larger stablemate mentioned in adopting an all-electric (EV) powertrain underneath. Starting with the 2WD, it packs a single rear e-motor and rear-wheel-drive (RWD) setup rated at 136 PS and 180 Nm, plus a 59.9 kWh LFP-type battery pack promising up to 401 KM (NEDC) range.
Despite its larger-than-life stance, the iCaur V23 is relatively 'compact' at 4,220 mm long (wheelbase: 2,735 mm), 1,915 mm wide and 1,845 mm tall.

Moving up the iWD guise, this variant packs a dual-motor setup with an intelligent all-wheel-drive (iWD) outputting 211 PS and 292 Nm. It also gains a larger 81.8 kWh NMC-type battery pack promising up to 501 KM (NEDC) range too. It also stands as the peppiest of the two with its 7.5-sec 0-100 km/h sprint time – versus 11 secs in the 2WD.
Both share the same electronically capped V-max of 140 km/h, and 6.6 kW AC charging speed. As for DC fast-charging, the 2WD guise makes do with a maximum of 85 kW whilst the iWD ups the ante by drawing in up to 104 kW instead. Notably, both guises boasts 3.3 kW vehicle-to-load (V2L) ability too.
Mechanical bits aside, iCaur Malaysia touts the V23 is also “engineered for rear world conditions” thanks to its chassis design that integrates both front MacPherson struts and rear independent multi-link suspension assemblies. As for rolling stock, the 2WD gets 19-inch wheels whilst the iWD gets larger 21-inch units instead.

On board, the iCaur V23 mirrors its iCaur 03 sibling by merging equally high levels of luxury and tech.

Moving to kit list, highlights here include a full suite of Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) features yielding Level 2 semi-autonomous driving capabilities, as well as a 540-degree surround-view camera suite bolstered by a ‘Transparent Chassis Camera’ function.
If all this tickles your fancy, then you can also elect to view the iCaur V23 up close and in the flesh this week at a special preview roadshow hosted by iCaur Malaysia at the Starhill Piazza this week.
Said roadshow starts today (Wed, Nov 29) and runs until Sunday (Nov 2) between 10AM and 10PM. Highlights of this roadshow mentioned include skateboarding and street dance demos, as well as a social media contest to win iCaur merchandise and other prizes.
