China’s Xpeng exceeded its 2025 sales target two months earlier, with 355,209 units sold as of October 2025.

Xpeng has surpassed its 2025 sales target of 350,000 units two months earlier than expected, as the Chinese automaker has sold a total of 355,209 units as of October 2025.

As reported by CarNewsChina, this stellar achievement also puts the Guangzhou-based automaker as the first and only Chinese NEV marque to achieve its sales target so far with a 101.5% completion rate as of last month.

Trailing behind Xpeng at second place is Leapmotor, with 465,805 units sold as of Oct 2025, or 93.2% of its annual sales target of 500,000.

Meanwhile, Xiaomi Auto is placed third on the list, with the tech giant delivering 306,184 units as of last month, or 87.5% of its annual sales target of 350,000 units. Unlike other automakers on the list, Xiaomi Auto is grappling with a substantial backlog of orders, with its monthly deliveries only capped at 40,000 due to production capacity constraints.

Apart from the top three positions, the remaining NEV brands on the list did not even break the 65% completion rate mark so far this year, with the closest one being fourth-placed IM Motors at 63.4%, with 63,376 units delivered as of Oct 2025 compared to its 100,000-unit target.

More importantly, these figures do raise the question of whether these brands can ever manage to meet their own targets, given that only two months are left in this year. But looking at the sales volume by themselves, most of these brands are doing pretty well.

For example, Huawei’s Harmony Intelligent Mobility Alliance (HIMA) has managed to deliver 418,121 units so far this year, thus putting it in second place on the list based on sales volume alone. That said, the automaker’s annual sales target is pretty high at one million units, thus reflected in its 41.8% completion rate.

Another example is Li Auto, which managed to deliver 328,916 units in said period. Relative to its rather ambitious annual sales target, however, Li Auto only managed to get 51.4% of its 640,000-unit target.
