Nissan X-trail

In 2019, Nissan has enter the Malaysian market with all new X-Trail models. Nissan has released all 4 variants consisting of Nissan X-Trail 2.0 2WD, Nissan X-Trail 2.5 4WD, Nissan X-Trail 2.5 4WD and Nissan X-Trail 2.0 2WD Hybrid. 

Nissan X-Trail is a 7- and 5-seater vehicle that runs double engines with single CVT transmission. The cost of this vehicle only ranges between RM128,630 to RM157,451 at local price.

The dashboard is a simple layout that is easily accessible for both the driver and front passenger.  It has leather material which is classy itself and suitable for a sporty ride.

Next, we can look at a seven-inch Advanced Drive Assist digital display touch screen where it channels info on turn-by-turn navigation, cruise control settings, fuel consumption stats and equipped with Electroluminescent Analogue.

Nissan X-Trail is equipped with 5 seaters with leather material. As for rear passengers, it is very comfortable and has a spacious room. Both fronts are rear seats has adjustable headrests where we can adjust appropriately. For a X-Trail driver’s seat, it is manually adjustable and rated first-class front head room. 

As for passenger seats, it has 4-Way Power Adjustable Seat with 60:40 split folding easily where you can also adjust the seats to give more legroom or cargo space.  The optional third row is shared 50:50 folding with split seats that is convenient for extra passengers.

Most of the spacious storage space is placed in the cargo compartment and door panels where we can put our items. 

Nissan has an interesting built in for cup holders where we can switch sides to hot or cold respectively located at front seats.  All in total, Nissan X-Trail offers eight cup holders which are placed at front and each door panel with foldable armrest.

All in total there are three power sockets. Two at front and one at boot space.

Nissan X-Trail has such an exclusive look and appearance for a sporty car. This car has been said to use 0.1074 (mm) for an average paint thickness. The bonnet itself has sound proofing material and the same thing goes to the car’s front fenders.

For this variant, it can hold up to 550 litres. Next, Nissan X-Trail is using a cargo system that uses Motion Activated Power Tailgate. The trunk space has plenty of room where we can find adjustable shelves and dividers to arrange items and keep them secure.

The Nissan X- Trail dimensions are 4,690 mm L x 1820 mm W x 1740 mm H. Wheelbase is 2705 mm.

This Nissan X-Trail has a remarkable bodywork both interior and exterior. Looking at the front grille, it has the V-shape motif which is distinctive and a signature of the Nissan family. Other than that, it has front underbody trim combined with twin LED headlamps. 

Nissan X-Trail is equipped with both Auto LED Headlamps. 

This crossover SUV has Motion Activated Power Tailgate where you may save your time and energy by kicking under the rear bumper and the door will be lifted automatically.

The side mirror of Nissan X-Trail has a folding wing mirror for both sides.

Front and rear brakes are using ventilated discs and there is an electronic parking brake with auto hold.

This SUV runs on 17-inch alloy wheels the size and type are 225/65 R17.

For active safety performance, Nissan X-Trail has six airbags provided. This SUV is also well-equipped with an Active Brake Limited Slip (ABLS), Hill Start Assist (HSA), Front Seat Belt with Load Limiters and Pre-tensioners. 

Then, also consists of Three-Point Emergency Locking Restraint (ELR) located two at front and three at second row. Child Seat Anchors (ISOFIX) is also available for Nissan X-Trail. 

This SUV has an Autonomous Emergency Braking, Lane-keeping alert, Blind Spot info System and Collision Warning.  Additionally, it consists of ABS/EBD, Electronic Stability Control, Immobiliser, Lane Departure Warning, and its own Security Alarm. 

Nissan X-Trail is using tilt and telescopic steering wheel where we can find Audio, Cruise Controls, and 5-inch Advanced Drive Assist Display (ADAD) switches on display. Other than that, this car is equipped with its own leather Shift Knob combined with Shift Boot, a One Touch Turn Signal, a Navigation Map System, an ECO Mode, High Beam Assist, Dual Zone Auto Climate Control with Rear Vents, and lastly Tonneau Cover placed at cargo space. 

The infotainment system is now a well incorporated device where Nissan has a 7-inch Touchscreen display with FM/AM, USB, Ipod, AUX, BT Audio Handsfree with Apple Carplay and Android Auto Ready.

With six speakers provided, the sound system creates good bass and all these 6.5-inch amps are placed in each door plus two tweeters in the dash.

Nissan X-Trail 2.0 2WD Hybrid is using MR20DD engine and 4-cyl, 16-valve, In-Line, DOHC with Twin CVTC and Direct Fuel Injection. This variant also has maximum power of 106 horsepower and torque of 200

All variants are using X-TRONIC CVT with 7-Speed Manual Mode. Final drive of Nissan X-Trail has MacPherson Strut Independent with Stabilizer Multi Link Independent with Stabilizer.

Nissan is powered by a complete powertrain upgrade which turns the ride to a smoother pace journey.

This Nissan X-Trail comes with the keyless entry with push start button, Auto Mode, dual-zone automatic climate and cruise control.
