Malaysia Autoshow 2024 Officially Launched, Expands To 2 Venues
MARii officially launched the expanded Malaysia Autoshow 2024 (MAS 2024) earlier today, confirming both its dates and venues.
The Malaysia Autoshow organised by the Malaysia Automotive, Robotics and IoT Institute (MARii) is set to return in 2024 (MAS 2024) for its seventh edition. This was announced by show organisers earlier today via a soft launch event and press conference held at the MITI building in Kuala Lumpur.
Present at the official soft launch event mentioned were Minister of Investment, Trade, and Industry YB Senator Tengku Datuk Seri Utama Zafrul Tengku Abdul Aziz, and MARii CEO Azrul Reza Aziz.

Scheduled to run from 21 to 26 May, MAS 2024 sees an unchanged core ethos of showcasing the latest vehicles from the local market, covering both traditional combustion (ICE) vehicles and Electric Vehicles (EVs) alike.
It’s also set to expand in size from 30,000 square metres to 40,000 square metres. For this, show organisers MARii says the 2024 edition of the show will be held across two venues simultaneously – MAEPS, Serdang and IOI City Mall that’s also nearby.
Returning for its seventh installment, MAS 2024 will be held across two venues - MAEPS, Serdang and IOI City Mall.
According to MARii, the expansion to IOI City Mall not only grants more exhibition space, it will also improve overall traffic flow for the show. Visitors also can now choose between parking on show grounds at MAEPS or IO City Mall, and that a free shuttle service will be established between both locations.
At MAEPS, MAS 2024 will see no less than four halls utilised to showcase various vehicles available form the market – EV and ‘Energy Efficient Models’ included. Included here too are two halls dedicated to the local two-wheeled – read: motorcycle – industry.

In his opening address at today’s soft launch, MARii CEO Azrul Reza Aziz says that MAS 2024 is gearing up to be yet another milestone event as it builds upon the successes MAS 2023, which saw nearly 200,000 attendees across a four-day span that generated up to RM1 billion in sales potential too.
MAS 2023 also housed over 300 displays including vehicles, accessories, as well as tech products. The roster of exhibitors also included no less than 30 car brands plus 50 motorcycle brands and accessories present. MAS 2023 also played host to no less than 9 new car and bike launches.
Now expanded to 40,000 square metres, organisers MARii targets MAS 2024 to attract up to 250,000 attendees. For reference, MAS 2023 held earlier this year pulled nearly 200,000 visitors across a four-day span.
Looking ahead, MARii expects the expanded MAS 2024 show to attract 250,000 attendees. “This is event that is not just an event for those seeking the latest in automotive safety and technology; but designed to be an engaging experience for the whole family,” added MARii CEO Azrul Reza Aziz today.
Ticket sales for MAS 2024 has also started online today via the show’s official website, www.autoshow.my. More details surrounding ticket prices and entry packages, as well as the show’s initial itinerary and highlights, are now available via said page too, as well as its official social media channels - Facebook and Instagram.
