Bentley Mulliner Presents, The Continental GT V8 Equinox Edition! Only Available For Japan

Bentley Mulliner recently revealed the expertly hand-crafted limited edition Continental GT V8 Equinox Edition for Japanese markets. 

Under the hood, the vehicle is equipped with Bentley’s renowned 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 engine that produces 542 hp and 770 Nm of torque. Besides that, it also features dual twin-scroll turbochargers that are within the “V” of the engine. 

With the top speed of 318 km/h, the Continental GT V8 Equinox Edition can speed up to 100 km/h within 4.0 seconds. 

Not forgetting that the engine has a unique ability to deactivate four of its eight cylinders in suitable conditions, without interrupting the drive. This change only takes 20 milliseconds. Also available is a Stop-Start technology that functions at ‘near-to-stop’ speeds. 

The model is offered in monochrome shades such as black, silver and white. Besides that, it is also produced from a specially requested, high gloss, black carbon-fibre Styling Specification that includes a front splitter, rear diffuser, boot lip spoiler, as well as side sills that are branded with metal Bentley wings inlays. 

Along with a Moonbeam (a rich silver) contrast accent pinstripe on the edge of the carbon fibre pieces, the 22-inch Mulliner Driving Specification wheel is also finished in dark metallic Tungsten paint.

As for the interior, the monochrome colour theme continues, along with an exquisite blend of traditional and contemporary features, showcasing the painstaking attention to detail. 

Certain design highlights include the secondary silver accent hide to the headrest and seat edge panels, as well as contrast stitching in silver thread to the seats and steering wheel that is mirrored in dual finish veneers that feature Piano Moonbeam over Grand Black. The painted veneer of the passenger fascia is finished with a classy Mulliner logo inlay. 

Among the interior features include mood lighting, illuminated sill plates, refined silver accent stitches on the diamond quilted seats, as well as deep pile Mulliner floor mats.
