Time to Roll! The 300th Bugatti Chiron is Set to Leave the Atelier in Molsheim
As of recent, Bugatti has completed producing its 300th vehicle, a Chiron Pur Sport which will be leaving the Atelier in Alsace.
“Bugatti stands for the most extraordinary, most powerful and most elegant hyper sports cars in the world. With the now 300 vehicle produced, we are again showing our competence in quality and customization. The Chiron Pur Sport is guaranteed to give customers pleasure. In addition to its unbelievable driving performance, it combines the highest engineering and design skill as well as superb craftsmanship.” says its president Stephan Winkelmann.

The 300th Chiron was configured individually to the smallest details by a Bugatti enthusiast, choosing “Nocturne” as the dominant paintwork. The mirror arms, exterior mirror housings, windshield wipers, Bugatti horseshoe and rear wind are in “Grey Carbon” while the Bugatti logo is fitted in “Gris Rafale”. The vehicle’s signature C-line alongside the tail lamps bezels and wheels are finished in “Gun Powder” as a contrast, with an extremely light carbon hood as the engine cover.

Interior-wise, the Bugatti is equipped with the Pur Sport Interior Package in subdued ‘Beluga Black” for the leather and Alcantara with contrasting seams in “Gris Rafale”. A drawing of the famous dancing elephant is seen on the head restraints, symbolizing a tribute to Ettore Bugatti’s younger brother. An optional Sky View is also available, giving passengers a view of the open sky.

The Bugatti Chiron Pur Sport is known for its agility, handling and performance. Grip-optimized tires and a complex aerodynamics with a fixed rear wing allows for more downforce and lateral dynamics. The vehicle is powered by a 8.0-lite W16 engine producing 1,479 hp and 1,600 Nm. With a 15 percent shorter transmission ratio, the Chiron Pur Sport is able to complete a century sprint in 2.3 seconds.

Only 60 units of the Chiron Pur Sport are available with a unit price of 3 million euros (nett). Designed for lateral acceleration and built at the Atelier in Molsheim in the Alsace region of France from fall 2020, the vehicles are expected to be delivered this year.
In addition, employees are also assembling the Chiron Sport and the Divo in Molsheim this year. With Bugatti’s La Voiture Noire which was presented to the company in March 2019, the French manufacturer is now producing the most exclusive and high-end vehicles in the world.
