Today marks the beginning of toll rates reductions for the Ampang-Kuala Lumpur Elevated Highway (AKLEH), Guthrie Corridor Expressway (GCE), Kemuning-Shah Alam Expressway (LKSA), and SILK highways, with reductions ranging from 8% to 15% effective immediately on beginning 12.01am, October 20, 2022.

Projek Lintasan Kota Holdings Sdn Bhd (Prolintas) stays committed to provide the best highway service covering aspects of operations and highway maintenance to highway user’s travelling experiences on all operating highways.

Meanwhile, the reduction only applies to Class One vehicles (vehicles with two axles and three or four wheels, such as passenger cars), Class Four (taxis), and Class Five vehicles (buses).

Class Two (vehicles with two axles and five or six wheels, excluding buses) and Class Three (vehicles with three axles and more, excluding buses) toll rates remain unchanged.

According to Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob, he implied that the toll rate reduction is part of the government’s initiative to ease people’s burdens amid rising living costs.

On another note, toll reductions on IJM Corporation's Lebuhraya Kajang-Seremban (Lekas) and Sungai Besi Expressway (Besraya) will begin on January 1, 2023.
