- Saudi Players To Receive Rolls Royce Phantom Each For Beating Argentina
Saudi Arabia defeated Argentina's Lionel Messi 2-1 in the opening match of the ongoing FIFA World Cup 2022 in Qatar, in what some are calling the biggest upset in Football World Cup history. Unsurprisingly, Saudi Arabia is overjoyed with the triumph, even declaring a national holiday to commemorate it.
And, if rumours are to be true, the celebrations do not stop there. Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman (MBS) is reportedly gifting a whole new Rolls Royce Phantom to each member of the World Cup squad.
The Rolls-Royce Phantom is the most recognisable symbol of automotive extravagance and privilege on the planet. The 2023 Phantom also stands out in the ultimate-luxury car segment due to its price, which is hundreds of thousands of dollars greater than rivals like the Bentley Flying Spur or the Mercedes-Maybach S-class.
For 2023, the Phantom receives a minor style refresh, including revisions to the car's distinctive Pantheon grille and reworked headlamps that add a somewhat more modern appearance.
New wheel designs complete off the outward upgrades, but if you want something more than a "normal Rolls," the company is introducing a limited-edition Phantom Platino model through its Bespoke coachbuilding service.
The cabin is covered in acres of wood, metal accents, and enormous swaths of silky leather, which is unsurprising for a car of this calibre. But there's so much more: for example, if you wish to utilise your Phantom to promote the arts, you may have unique artwork installed in place.
A silky 563-hp twin-turbo V-12 combined with an eight-speed transmission and rear-wheel drive provides incredible power to the car.
Estimated based price is $450,000!
