Porsche Design Debuts 75th Anniversary Limited-Edition Chronograph 1

The new Chronograph I is based on the 1972 Chronograph I and not only looks and feels the same, but it also has improved details and modern functionality. The watch is housed in a 40.8mm diameter black titanium carbide coated and glass bead blasted case.

Doused in black from case to bezel, the Chronograph has a sleek, sporty, and stealthy appearance, with white indices, tachymeter, and subdials for a pop of contrast. It also has a specially designed textile strap that is inspired by the colour schemes of Porsche's 75th anniversary logo.


A full-color Porsche Crest graces the sapphire crystal of the caseback, affixed at the centre of the Fuchs rotor, while engravings of the edition's logo and batch number encircle it. The timepiece is powered by the brand's own COSC-certified WERK 01.140 calibre, which is equipped with a day and date display and a 48-hour power reserve.

Released as a limited edition of 475, the Chronograph 1 is priced at $11,000 USD (MYR 49,830) and is currently available for pre-order via Porsche Design’s official website.
